The Destructible Environment Networked Toolkit [DENT] is a fully networkable template that will extend the functionality of the existing destructible mesh mechanics by allowing for point and radial fracture control over the mesh. DENT will add realism to the audio and visual effects of impacts on destructible structures.
Features include:
Full network support
Drag and drop implementation with minimal customisation
Point and radial projectile weapon included (to aid existing weapons interacting correctly with destructible meshes)
On fracture events:
lighting can be disabled
an explosion with area of effect (AoE) of impulse and damage can be created
particle and audio control for points and radial damage
Package contains:
5 single destructible items:
barrel – exploding example
box – obstacle
wall – obstacle
2 lamp posts – affect lighting
1 constructed building – constructed from 11 destructible meshes
